Western Canada Division
Meet our dedicated team leading the Western Canadian Division of the
Canadian Young Investors Society through the 2025–2026 year.

Head of Western
Canada Division
Aidan Mok
Junior at Vancouver College, Aidan is excited to serve as Head of Western Canada Division for The Canadian Young Investors Society this academic year. Passionate about finance and youth leadership, Aidan is driven to make financial literacy more accessible to students across Canada. Outside of CYIS, Aidan stays busy in the Cadet Program and building jewelry designs. When he is not doing work, you will probably find him scrolling on Instagram.

Head of Western
Canada Division
Vincent Zhao
A Junior at St. George's Senior School, Vincent is beyond excited to be serving as Co-Head of the Western Canada Division for the Canadian Young Investors Society this year. With a lifelong curiosity about markets and money - the kind that has you checking stock prices in class - he has found a natural home in CYIS, where that curiosity actually gets rewarded. From organizing case competitions and stock pitches to hosting guest speakers and workshops, he hopes to grow CYIS's presence across Western Canada and make finance feel a little less intimidating for everyone. Outside of CYIS, Vincent can be found roaming the halls of Richmond Centre, taking questionable photos of his cat, and occasionally pretending he knows what he's doing on the badminton court.

Director of Administration
Frank Feng
A Grade 11 student in Vancouver, Frank is interested in engineering and spends most of his time making things, whether that’s music, code, or ideas that are probably a little too ambitious. He plays saxophone, bass, and drums, and performs with the BCMEA Provincial Jazz Ensemble and the VSO School of Music Jazz Ensemble, where he’s developed a deep appreciation for tight rhythm sections and groove. He’s especially drawn to the structure behind improvisation and why certain chord changes feel inevitable, as well as how patterns emerge from what sounds random. When he’s not rehearsing or building something new, he’s usually thinking about the next project he probably doesn’t have time to start.

Director of Finance
Christine Wang
As a sophomore at Crofton House School, Christine is honoured to serve as the Director of Finance for the Western Canada Division of CYIS. Since joining her school’s business club two years ago, she has developed a strong interest in finance and investing. Through CYIS, she hopes other students can discover their own interest in business and develop a lasting appreciation for the field. Outside of CYIS, you can find Christine on Bloxburg building a million-dollar town she can never quite finish, working on her next 3D printing project, or watching Chili’s cheese-pull reels.

Director of Logistics
Raina Fang
As a junior at Fraser Heights Secondary, Raina is honoured to serve as the director of logistics of the Western Canada Division for CYIS academic year. She loves participating in community events and hopes to bring more accessible resources to students in Canada. In her free time she loves doomscrolling xiaohongshu and binging cdramas.

Director of Logistics
Peter Li
Peter Li is joining the WCD division of CYIS this year as Director of Logistics, and he's pretty excited about it. He's looking forward to helping make the 2026 iteration even better than the last. Outside of CYIS, you can find him on his third coffee of the morning, grinding away at labs, chasing deadlines, publishing papers, and generally doing far too much research for someone who claims it's just for fun.

Director of Marketing
Tim Chen
A Grade 11 student at St. George’s School, Tim is excited to serve as Director of Marketing for the Canadian Young Investors Society this year. Passionate about marketing and entrepreneurship, he’s especially interested in how strong branding and clear messaging can turn great ideas into real impact. He believes financial literacy is a powerful tool for young people and is committed to making investing more accessible and engaging for students across Canada. Outside of CYIS, you can find Tim playing competitive badminton, practicing piano, or building his next project.

Director of Sponsorships
Erin Sweeney
Erin is a sophomore at Robert A. McMath Secondary School and is eager to take on the role of Director of Sponsorships for Canadian Young Investors Society. A passionate advocate at heart, Erin has always believed in the power of amplifying young voices and supporting causes that matter. Her enthusiasm combined with her natural teamworking abilities makes her a perfect fit for the team and building meaningful external relationships. Erin is ready to bring her drive to every interaction, expanding the impact of the conference beyond its walls, and is committed to making CYIS a platform to inspire and spread financial literacy.
